Senior Ministry Analyst

Description

As a Senior Ministry Analyst you will be engaging directly with coworkers and clients daily through Zoom, Teams, and Asana. The person in this role will have their hands in the configuration of Rock RMS features like Check-In, Events, Reporting, Workflows, Connections, Steps and more. If you like collaborating with awesome people and making all of their Rock RMS dreams come true, this role is likely going to be a great fit for you! We are not actively seeking to fill this role at this time, but are always open to hear from anyone with extensive Rock RMS experience that may be interested in the possibility of joining our team.

Responsibilities

Expand your expertise in Rock RMS by working on implementation and configuration tasks for churches in the Rock community.
Work with a highly collaborative, growing team to evaluate a churches needs and implement effective solutions.
Utilize experience with Microsoft Azure by assisting in Azure-based Rock RMS instance setup and maintenance.
Become more knowledgeable in Microsoft SQL and Lava through provided training and client tasks.

Required Qualifications

Experience in and with Rock RMS Database Administration
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Strong project management skills
A strong desire to work with and/or experience working with churches

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge and/or experience with SQL, Lava, or HTML
Experience working for a church or similar ministry-centered organization
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects/tasks at once

Provide development support to our Ministry Analysts
Become knowledgeable in the Lava templating language for front end tasks
Deliver code that is well tested and documented with extensibility in mind

Required Qualifications

Profiency in C# and Microsft SQL with experience with HTML and JavaScript
Experience with Rock RMS
Experience working with Git
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
Experience with Web frameworks such as Bootstrap and Vue.Js
